Jane Reiseger’s illustrations are playful and hand drawn usually in pen and coloured textas. Some of her earlier projects include drawing Aesop products on tabletops, branding illustrations for rogerseller and creating a little Oliphant, Albi, an elephant with lots of attitude for nest homewares Jane also likes to paint on walls and has painted murals for many children’s bedroom interiors. She has also completed commissions from Pip and Co, Sibella Court, David Lancashire and Maddison Architects.
Jane’s recent projects include painting the CBD pub in Sydney, illustrations for the kids fashion label Big by Fiona Scanlan, drawing with food for a cookbook for Marion Grasby and working on the new Royal Children’s Hospital with Buro North and Bates Smart – a mammoth job involving creating hundreds of illustrations used in over 5,000 signs, landmarks and wall panels.
In the future Jane would like to make some kids’ picture books and is interested in animation. Her dream job is to do a cookbook with Jamie Oliver.
Jane lives in Mt. Martha near Melbourne with her partner and son.
