Chronox is an ongoing, earnest attempt to build a time machine. So put away your copy of ‘Back to the Future’, step out of the TARDIS and come to Lamington Drive from the 3rd of June to the 3rd of July.
“… Chronox, transports us into a world of magical possibilities that is totally absorbing…” — Ted Snell, The Australian.
The project utilises elements of utopian architecture, heavy sonic repetition and phasing visual synchronicity to travel deep into the present moment. This is the first appearance of Chronox in Melbourne, and will be its last ever showing. This show will include limited edition prints and vinyl records.
Chronox has previously shown at PICA in Perth for the 2009 ‘Hatched’ National Graduate Show, Salamanca Arts Centre in Hobart for MONDA FOMA 2010 and at Firstdraft in Sydney.
