Where The Wild Things Are

February 25 - March 13

Girl Skateboards & Hardcore Distribution are proud to present ‘Where The Wild Things Are’, a collection of film stills from Spike Jonze’s movie, shot by illustrious skate photographer Mike O’Meally.

Acknowledged as one of the most notable photographers in his field, in December 2006 O’Meally was invited to join the set of Where The Wild Things Are for one week, to capture Spike Jonze at his most playful and enchanted. The results being a captivating series of stills, signed and printed at 30x40 inches and 30x30 inches on museum grade Moab Anasazi Canvas, archival for 300 years.

Seven exclusive ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ Board Graphic Series signed by Girl Skateboards team will also be on show and available for sale.

The entire Girl Skateboards team will be appearing at the opening of this exhibition, which makes this not only a chance to own an incredible piece of film history, but also a chance to donate to a fantastic charity and a worthy cause.

All proceeds from sales of prints & skateboards go to the Children’s Leukaemia & Cancer Research Foundation (Inc).

O’Meally currently resides in Los Angeles where he works as a senior photographer for Transworld Skateboarding Magazine. He has exhibited his work widely including solo shows at Monster Children (2006), Dactyl Gallery NYC (2008), and most recently at China Heights (2009).
